Another day, another drive, and another view of clouds...and beautiful mountains, and vineyards...oh my...

Clouds are becoming my new obsession, replacing doors. I have learned in the last few days to see light, something that I have avoided in the past, in a new way. Light really does make a difference...this realization coming from someone who historically sits and works with no or low light.

This is a picture I took while driving...I love that my G 10 lets me take reasonable pictures, while flying down the road at 55 to 70 mph...note to self...look for a measure that prohibits snapping and driving on a ballot coming to your area...soon!

Today was rainy...again. I know we need the water, and am looking forward to having permission to water a yard and possibly a garden this summer. I had a nice run in the rain, something that I have not done before due to the timing of "hair". It was actually quite nice...and peaceful. The pace is a bit slower than usual, and focus is required to avoid puddles, and not slip. I rediscovered an old favorite song of mine last night, Jackson Browne's "Late for the Sky"...at the slower pace, it is possible to sing and run at the same time...bless my neighbors!

This is a picture I took today while sneaking out for a Chai...taken while...you guessed it...driving. I am thinking that a "Bill" will be introduced shortly to ban photographing while driving...guess I should design a protest sign...just in case...

Tonight my siblings (minus Kris), Father and I gathered at Umbria for dinner. The food was spectacular, the margaritas good, and the company fun...for a while. Funny how when you "Google" the word "Family"...the match comes up as "drama".

This is a picture of the Bay Bridge shot through the windshield on the the drive over. Shooting while driving is becoming my new favorite hobby...a little nutty, and very creative as potential shots are literally flying by you...and their is little time to "see", and "shoot" to get the shot you are envisioning. Wonder if shooting while driving is legal...don't think I will research that...just yet!
