Times...They Are a Changing...

Times...They Are a Changing...
The only constant in my life the past two years has been change, and this Season is no exception. This past year has been one of the most magical and valuable of my adult life...so many things seen...touched...felt...and truly experienced. The one thing I was unsuccessful in was finding that deep...undying connectedness to another human that I have dreamed of...perhaps that is the reality of the World...so I am putting the Universe on notice...I am weaning myself off this fantasy...and I will see where I go from here...I feel lighter already!
This is a picture of the cover of my latest "book"...Views of Santa Fe. Two fabulous trips to Santa Fe within one year, both with very different focus', both lovely and enjoyable. I am proud to say I now have 4 books...and 2 more in the making.
2010 will undoubtably hold new adventures, and I am hoping they will continue to be "book" worthly...

Change is Constant

Change is Constant

At some point in my near future I am hoping to have important aspects of my life agreed upon and predictable. My Horoscope has said that more change is in store, and frankly there are days I wonder how much more flux and change I can absorb and still continue to breathe.

This is a picture I took on a recent trip to Santa Fe...it is the side of a trash can...one of the few constants in my life today is my love of rust and color. I have taken several amazing trips this year, and have seen images and felt scenery that I did not know existed. What I long for now is the feeling of being connected to another...to have a home, to matter enough to be worth effort...to enjoy a shared partnership...and deep love. My friend Mel has said that she has decided that the Universe wants her to stay single...I am hoping that is not my fate...

Santa Fe

Santa Fe

I am playing with the idea of another trip to Santa Fe. I am almost afraid that if I go again, I will not come back...and there is still "stuff" to clean up here...and of course the collecting of the pugs! This is a cloud photo I shot last June...from a moving car, and a tree in the forest above Santa Fe. The clouds are amazingly white, thick, with a lightness about them, the forest is very beautiful...it looks like Tahoe, though does not smell like it.
The Square in the middle of town is a great place to just sit, collect your thoughts and smoke a cigar...cherry of course. This trip will be different than before, but then again, I am finding that to be the case with most things...and usually in a great way. The Georgia O'Keefe museum is so inspirational, and the story of her life almost makes you believe that you can follow your dreams...guess the question will be...do I dare?
