Today was interesting...a regular routine interrupted by an unexpected non functioning straight iron...thank goodness this was a day that a pony tail could accommodate an extra hour and a trip to the "Beauty Store'...

I have driven over this Bridge thousands of times in the past 15 years, and today I stopped to photograph...not really sure why...but it was fun!

Saturday's Ride
Another Saturday, and another discovery of a gift Sacramento has to offer that I was unaware of. Today held a bike ride along the American River Parkway...the scenery was beautiful, along with perfect weather, and my favorite...a fairly flat ride. The bike trail snakes along some of Sacramento State University, a place where I have some fond memories of parties I attended when I was 20.
This is a picture looking towards the river, including the walking/riding Bridge. The outline of the Bridge reminded me of the shape of the Philly Bridge...my Son, and good times in Philly that had he not moved there...I would not have had...
